Le University Hospital Center (CHU) of Bordeaux is experiencing significant progress in the management of medical emergencies thanks to an innovative collaboration between LUNAAR and Cisco. This alliance gave birth to a revolutionary solution, combining glasses assisted reality LUNAAR RealWear to the Cisco Webex app, for real-time communication and effective coordination during emergency situations.
Under the leadership of François Dallay, Project Manager at SAMU for the Information Systems Department (DSI) of Bordeaux University Hospital, this initiative was successfully implemented. RealWear assisted reality glasses, integrating the Webex Expert On Demand application, now allow CHU medical teams to benefit from real-time audio and video communication, as well as the possibility of sharing critical documents, all essential during health crises.
LUNAAR's support in several experiments met the operational needs of the Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU) 33, facilitating fluid collaboration between the teams in the field and the control room.
This collaboration between LUNAAR and Cisco marks a major breakthrough in healthcare, paving the way for innovative solutions that have the potential to save lives.
