Which RealWear safety glasses are suitable for an ATEX zone?
Only the RealWear Navigator Z1 It is certified for use in explosive atmospheres: ATEX Zone 1, IECEx and CSA Class I Div 1. It also includes a thermal imaging camera. The ARC 3 (IP54) and the Navigator 520 (IP66) are not ATEX certified.
What is the difference in battery life?
The ARC 3 lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours in the field. The Navigator 520 and the Navigator Z1 last approximately 6 hours, and their batteries can be hot-swapped without interrupting the session (outside of ATEX zones for the Z1).
Which one is the lightest?
The ARC 3, with 175 g, compared to 274 g for the Navigator 520 and 383 g for the Navigator Z1.
Can they be worn with a construction helmet?
Yes. The ARC 3 and Navigator 520 are worn with a safety cap or helmet, safety glasses, and hearing protection. The Navigator Z1 is used with hearing protection and intrinsically secure attachments.
Under what system do they operate?
All three models run on Ari OS 2.0, based on Android 16, and are fully voice-controlled.
Do they work with Microsoft Teams?
